Your Mission

  • You will be responsible for the design of control loops and control software for medical devices (pumps, insufflators and others) in close co-operation with the system and software engineers
  • You will be responsible for breaking down the device architecture and requirements for the control systems into electrical, software, mechanical (and optical) design specifications
  • You will design, implement and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable models and code blocks for these medical devices within a project team
  • You will prepare, modify, evaluate and approve the technical documentation required for the development of control systems
  • You will implement essential parts of control system modules based on clearly defined requirements
  • You will ensure that new and existing designs meet the quality and functional safety requirements and contribute to the preparation of risk analyses for the devices and their control software

Your Talents

  • Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science
  • Very good knowledge and experience in Matlab and Simulink
  • Sound knowledge of common numerical modelling techniques
  • Sound knowledge of controller and filter design (e.g. for valves, pumps, injection nozzles)
  • Experience in hardware-related software development desirable
  • Desire for agile development of products in medical technology and interest in new, innovative topics
  • Good German and very good written and spoken English skills
